Initially started as a coffee cart, Social Coffee has specialized in celebrating others since 2019. With the opening of our brick and mortar in March 2022, in downtown Baton Rouge, Social Coffee now has a home to host people everyday. Only having 900 sq. ft. makes our coffee shop a cozy, yet modern space to enjoy friends, coffee, and light food items.
We have 3 main values by which we gauge the health and growth of Social Coffee: Community, Craft, and Curiosity.
COMMUNITY
We believe community is an important part of living a healthy and sustainable life. We desire to help provide a place where people feel loved and welcome the moment they enter our space.
CRAFT
We believe what we do is more than make coffee, but a dedication to details. We are dedicated to the process and to using like-minded coffee roasters to allow us to serve high-level coffee.
CURIOSITY
In order for us to provide Community & grow in our Craft, we know it is important for us to be learners and “Stay Curious”. We taste new coffees, rotate guest roasters, and hold classes in our small shop space.
